An emphatic victory ensued for the 'Ton in this closed-doors match against local Ayrshire opposition. Goals came courtesy of Peter Weatherson (2), debutant Iain Diack (2), fellow newcomer Stuart McCluskey, Warren Hawke and Marco Maisano. Mark McCulloch, a midfielder reported to actually have a left foot on him, made an appearance as a trialist.

Largs are hardly Division 2 in quality, but getting some match practice in and scoring several goals hopefully boosted the squad's ailing confidence. The Renfrewshire Cup Semi-Final tie on Tuesday evening should hopefully provide a similar result.
