According to Saturday's match programme, club chairman DDF Rae is pleased to report that three of Morton's young players have signed contract extensions. Dean Keenan, Jim McAllister and Chris Millar are now all committed to the club.
Despite some poor performances of late, McAllister showed his class with a great run of form at the beginning of the season. Likewise, Dean Keenan mostly coped admirably with being played out of position during the various defensive crises that have befallen the club in recent times. Finally, similar to McAllister, Millar's early-season form has been something of a false dawn as he failed to make a great impression in the last two games at least. However, Chris was one of the few bright points in the terrible second half of last season, acting as a steady influence on a team that had largely fallen to bits.
