After a 10:15 pitch inspection, the troublesome area of the pitch that lies in the shadow cast by the roof of the main stand was deemed too hard for play. With no possibility of the sun hitting it until early afternoon, there seemed to be little alternative but to call the match off.
The provisional date for the game is now Tuesday the 23rd of November. A full afternoon's sun will hopefully keep the pitch in a playable condition.
