Morton wait on McLaughlin
Morton skipper Mark McLaughlin is an injury doubt for the visit of Raith as he is struggling with a groin problem.
The Greenock men have already ruled out foot injury victim Thomas O'Ware, while Joe McKee is out with an ankle injury and David O'Brien has a thigh strain.
Manager Allan Moore said: "I was delighted that we got a win and a clean sheet against Montrose in the Scottish League Cup on Tuesday as that allowed us to get over losing to Dumbarton last weekend.
"We want to make our home games a match that other teams fear and beating Raith Rovers will help build that reputation."
Raith travel to Greenock with only Greig Spence absent as the striker continues to suffer from a thigh strain.
Dougie Hill is included after the Fife club appealed the red card he received in midweek against Hearts in the Scottish League Cup.
Stark's Park boss Grant Murray said: "We are going into this game disappointed at losing to Hearts but pleased with the test that we gave them. We lost on penalties and we move on and look forward to a game that is played on one of the best surfaces in the country.
"It will be tough as they will be boosted by winning against Montrose in midweek."
