Morton defender Kevin Rutkiewicz could return against Partick following a knee operation.
But Scott Taggart is struggling with a cut foot, Martin Hardie is a doubt with a foot injury and Mark McLaughlin needs a check on a knee knock.
Peter MacDonald is definitely ruled out but former Celtic youngster Liam Gormley could feature for the third and last time as a trialist.
Manager Allan Moore said: "This is a real test for us after four wins in a row but it is also a real test of Thistle's unbeaten run.
"Raith ran them close last weekend and hopefully we will be that first side to beat them."
Partick include Paul Slane, their new loan signing from Celtic, in their travelling party.
Firhill manager Jackie McNamara has a selection problem of the right kind as he has a full squad to choose from.
Steven Craig, Sean Welsh and Kris Doolan all returned to training this week after injury.
McNamara said: "It is a nice position to be in for a game against a team that is bang in form.
"Paul is an exciting talent and his direct running will give us something different but I have yet to decide what his involvement in the game will be.
"It is two teams putting decent unbeaten runs on the line so it should be a cracking game."
