Nicholson to make Morton bow
Bottom-of-the-table Morton include former Tottenham midfielder Jake Nicholson in their squad to face Livingston at Cappielow.
The 21-year-old is in line for a quick debut as David O'Brien (shoulder) and Reece Hands (pelvis) remain out and Tomas Peciar, Fouad Bachirou and Archie Campbell are all struggling due to injury or illness. However, Scott Taggart is available after injury.
Manager Allan Moore said: "Jake has the chance to impress during a short-term deal here. Hopefully he will play a part in getting us the win we need to kick-start our season.
"We were poor last weekend and I'm looking for much better."
Livingston, who have slipped down the table after a bright start under new manager John McGlynn, welcome back Danny Denholm after a ban.
Captain Simon Mensing is a major doubt due to a hamstring problem with the Lions definitely missing the injured Mike Mampuya (knee), Ross Docherty (groin) and player/assistant manager Mark Burchill (calf).
McGlynn said: "We have paid a heavy price for missing chances and it is time for that to stop.
"A win would lift us back to the fringes of the top four and that has to be our aim. Morton will be very difficult opponents though as they will be looking to get off bottom spot."
