Hardie back for Morton
Morton will be able to call on the experienced Martin Hardie for the visit of Hamilton Accies after the 36-year-old came through a reserve game in midweek unscathed following a rib injury.
Craig Reid is also available to manager Allan Moore, however Fouad Bachirou is struggling with a back problem and Peter MacDonald remains on the sidelines following foot surgery.
Moore said: "With Partick Thistle and Dunfermline playing each other we have the chance to close the gap on at least one of them by winning this game. We struggled against a ten-man Hamilton side earlier in the season and it would be good to put on a much better performance this time.
"If we want to do anything this season, this is the type of game we should be winning."
Hamilton Accies captain Alex Neil will sit out the second game of a three-match ban as the New Douglas Park side visit a ground where they won twice last season.
Strike pair Jon McShane and Kieran Millar remain out with knee injuries, however on-loan Kilmarnock midfielder Gary Fisher is available after an ankle injury.
Manager Billy Reid said: "Cappielow was a happy hunting ground for us last season and it would be great if it was again, however we are coming up against a much more experienced Morton side this season.
"They have gained experience and we have lost some but we did well to get a 1-1 draw in our first meeting this season after having a man sent off so our kids will take confidence from that."
