Problems mount for Morton
Morton could be without as many as five players against visitors Alloa.
Thomas O'Ware (foot) and Joe McKee (ankle) continue to be absent while Tomas Peciar, Fouad Bachirou and Kabba-Modou Cham are all struggling with knocks.
Cappielow boss Allan Moore said: "Whatever side we list needs to defend better than we did in the second half at Dundee last weekend. We went from leading at half-time to being behind within a few minutes due to poor defending.
"Alloa are a well organised side who will punish us if we are slack at the back again. However, we are at home and want the win that could lift us off the bottom of the table."
Alloa will again be without James Creaney as he continues to struggle with an ankle injury.
And Eddie Fearns is still not available to manager Paul Hartley following his broken jaw.
The visitors are looking to build on last Saturday's win over table-toppers Hamilton.
Hartley said: "Beating Hamilton was a great result for our players as it confirmed to them that they can compete with anyone in this league.
"We can now look to build on that by taking something from Morton, although we recognise that it will not be easy. Any team that can beat Celtic at Parkhead is deserving of our full respect ."
