Arbroath Strengthen Squad Ahead Of Morton Clash

35 year old Marc Millar, recently released by Brechin, found his way to Gayfield where he today put pen to paper on a short term deal. The midfielder, who was heavily involved in both Brechin's promotion season in 2002/03 and their ignominious relegation campaign immediatley after, apparently impressed new Red Lichties boss Harry Cairney during a reserve game. As such, the manager immediatley snapped him up on a free transfer. Millar may make his debut against Morton at home on Saturday, as the Greenock club come in search of a much-needed win to keep them close to Millar's former club Brechin City, and Stranraer, at the top of the table.
