Alloa's reward for overcoming First Division Raith Rovers in the Third Round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday has yet to be decided. However, it's been narrowed down to two options: either a home game against SPL opposition in the guise of Livingston, or a visit from fellow 2nd Division mid-tablers Greenock Morton.
Following torrential rain on Saturday, and the fact that Livingston's drainage system was apparently installed by Intelligent Finance's groundswork division, the Third Round match between the West Lothian franchise outfit and the venerable sons of Greenock failed to go ahead. The replay is scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:45pm, with a pitch inspection proposed for the laughably early time of midday.
Livingston FC were founded in 1995 following the demise of Meadowbank Thistle. They are run from a secret underground lair in Australia by Bronson from "Round The Twist."
